Drexel 'Declaration' Catkin-Back Dining Chairs - Pair

Vintage mid century pair of solid walnut dining chairs, from Drexel’s ‘Declaration’ line, designed by Kipp Stewart. Sold as a set of 2. 

Each chair has been completely hand-sanded and refinished with a penetrating hard wax and oil finish, which we opted to use instead of toning and lacquering, as it’s more environmentally friendly and will provide a durable, resilient finish to the walnut.

Beautiful vintage caramel color has developed in the wood on both chairs, and the grain is spectacular.

Well-built and fully repaired for stability and longevity.
